Announcement: Prize for comprehensible science

The Klaus Tschira foundation is looking for young scientists who do excellent research and can describe their findings and results in a comprehensible manner for the public at large. The prize for comprehensible science "KlarText!" will be awarded in the subjects biology, chemistry, computer sciences, mathematics, neuroscience and physics. Anyone who did a doctorate in one of these subjects in 2014 and would like to describe one's own research results in a popular scientific article may apply for this prize. The best articles of the different subject fields will be awarded 5,000 Euro each and will be published in a special supplement of the journal "Bild der Wissenschaft". The application deadline is 28 February 2015.
