There is a multi-purpose auditorium on the first floor of the House for Young Researchers Zur Rosen. Originally, there was a large wooden parlor in this room, but during restoration, only one side of it could be retained. Beginning in 1955, there was a restaurant for professors in this room, the "Professors' Casino". Additional information on the history of the building Zur Rosen can be found here.

Today, the auditorium can be used for events for doctoral candidates, such as lectures and workshops. There is room for up to 80 people, and the room is equipped with a laptop, projector, flip chart, bulletin boards, and standing desk.
