Regression analysis is the most frequently used starting point for any statistical analysis, and a good understanding of the principles of regression methodology is essential to understand many of the modern methods in machine learning and predictive modeling.

You are already comfortable with the basic concepts of R, or have completed the course "Introductory Data Analysis with R". Building on this foundation, this two-day workshop will give you a strong understanding of how to perform and interpret correlation and linear regression models in R.

We will cover simple linear regression and correlation, how to interpret R's regression output, how to graph models, and how to test basic model assumptions.

We will then move on to fitting multiple linear models, how to work with weigths, transformations, outliers, and points of influence.

Finally we will introduce the more advanced concepts of Generalised Linear Models for binomial data, Mixed-Effect Models, and Additive Linear Models.

Die Anmeldefrist für diesen Kurs ist abgelaufen.
