Show your Research!

The Background

In the short film project "Show Your Research!" young scientists from the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena present their scientific work and research life in Jena. The resulting films were shot from October 2017 to February 2018 under the professional supervision of Tilman Hesse, filmmaker, and under the direction of the Graduate Academy of the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena.

The project tries to shed light on the diversity of research as well as the many personal and scientific stories behind the research projects in Jena.

The short films were funded by Stiftung Mercator as part of the project "Jena House for Young Researchers".
