Call for Papers: Interdisciplinary symposium for doctoral candidates on sustainability

Doctoral candidates investigating sustainability issues have the opportunity to present their research in front of an interdisciplinary audience this fall. The conference "Sustainability in the interdisciplinary discourse - theories, models and practice" is funded by the Graduate Academy and supported by the DR.FSU. Abstract submission is possible until May, 31st 2016. The Call for Papers is available here.

The call is open for all disciplines dealing with epistemological and historical grounds of sustainability, and/or discussing current, innovative research projects, practice and results. Submissions can touch the following subjects:

  • Historical and ideological grounds of the discourse on sustainability
  • Sustainability in nature and technology
  • Sustainable theories and sustainable practice in economy, politics and society
