We cordially invite you to the Jena Final of the Three Minute Thesis® Competition! As a part of this year's PhD Day, it will take place at 24 January in the Rosensäle starting at 18.30h.

Eight doctoral candidates from all disciplines will present their dissertations in English, on one slide only and with no more than three minutes time! The winner takes home € 100, and the chance to fly to Edinburgh in June 2017 for the European 3MT Finals. Next to the first prize that is awarded by a jury, we will also give our audience the chance to award one of the participants a Public's Choice prize.

3MT® is an internationally renowned competition that is conducted at numerous universities throughout the world. It was invented in 2008, by the University of Queensland, Australia, and since then has been a registered trademark for frequent competitions that follow its idea.
